This is hopefully one of many blogs here. My name is Andrew B and I headed for Iraq. I will be there for a year to work as a Environmental tech. I will be leaving for Huston, TX May 18 for a physical and safety training. After that I will be going to Dubai for additional training before being flown onto LSA Anaconda where I will be working four months at a time. As of right now I am buying clothes and equipment for the year, saying my goodbyes and finishing up my eighth semester at West Chester University.
The purpose of this blog is to let all my friends and family know that I am still kickin' and to give my perspective of what it is like to live on a military base, in a war zone, in a desert.
